The new play area, Victoria Play Park, Bideford, was designed in mind to meet the needs of children of all ages and abilities and to provide play value to the whole community.
With nearly £50,000 of grant money secured from Community Spaces, a Big lottery funding grant secured by the Parent Carers’ Voice and Torridge District Council’s Culture and Leisure Services team, this exciting extension to the existing play areas has expanded and enhanced the already fantastic facilities for children in the popular riverside park, allowing inclusive play for children of all ages as well as opening up the social and recreational opportunities that the park has to offer.
